"Kudos for a hugely successful weekend.
Although I missed the Havanna evening. But by all accounts, I heard it was a fabulous night. I can, however, account for the six hour workshops and
night! I had a fabulous time and wish that I had the brain power to remember everything that was taught at the workshops. But what will remain with me, is the approach-ability of Francisco and Rogelio during their workshops, their energy, style, humor, and warmth. Both of the men had great smiles, (as a woman, I would notice that...right???!). I hope that you and Alfredo will bring them back soon. Be sure to share my thoughts with your friends/teachers/performers/passionate advocates for unity within the Atlanta salsa community.
But I digress...the evening dance was amazing. The energy level of the crowd
was superior. And even more, I didn't see people trying to showboat or
showcase on the floor. How many times have we gone to places and the energy level extremely high, and the floor etiquette out of control??? It was great to see the local talent again, and I especially enjoyed the second half of the show.
Congratulations to you both for the hard work you guys put into this event
in order to make it so successful. I know that you both are extremely tired,
but hopefully, as you recount the weekend's event, you'll say the fatigue
was worth it.
I appreciate the impassioned and impromptu speech rendered by Francisco at the end of the night, for a more unified Atlanta salsa community. Hopefully ears have heard, and voices will spread the word, and we'll see a little less competition among and within our salsa community.
Again, I applaud your energy and dedicated to bring the best to the Atlanta
salsa community, and I am glad to be counted among your loyal followers."

"Just wanted to take a minute and tell you how much fun we all had (5 made it from our Greenville group). It was to say the least, very satisfying on all accounts; challenging classes, diversity among the Casino/LA style, excellent instructors and the performances were awesome! I can't think of a better way to get so completely exhausted and have so much fun doing it!
Thank you for all the hard work and countless hours to make this event possible. It was quite refreshing to see so many professionals work together to provide such a positive experience in the Salsa community.

This place is usually packed with great people on a given Thursday night. With Alfredo in the DJ booth the music and atmosphere is electric. The party starts (around 9ish) with a Salsa 1 lesson taught by Alfredo & Jen, followed by social dancing. It ends at 1:30am. The people are very nice ranging from Roosevelt who collects the cover charge at the door to the dance instructors (SDC you are the best). You can find both on1 and on2 dancers on the floor. I highly recommend Thursdays at the Marriott -- Salsambo keep up the great work.

Last night was perfect! What a lot of salsa! The Reunions dance floor at the Marriott proved to be a great venue for the dance. Once Sanctuary and Havana Club get packed, salsa starts to look like a sexy high school slow dance! But at Reunions there was plenty of room to practice...This was my third salsa lesson and it covered more moves than the other two added together. The Salsambo performers danced a great routine for us as well.
Thank you,

Thanks so much for everything. I had such a good time at my last outings with you. I miss you very much. I hope I can find people as wonderful as you here in the Balto/DC area. I have been so busy getting settled that I have not had the time to check out any dance venues... Again...thanks for everything you do. I will continue praying for success in all of your business ventures, strength and good health.

"I would like to thank Salsambo for the great Sunday nights that they are providing. The fact that the sushi is of the chain, everyone that goes there is very friendly and is there to have fun! The best part is that is in a central part of town, making it close to everyone and the floor is great. The fear factor contest was awesome! Thank God I did not have to eat the pork ears!!!!
Everyone should come a try it, it's like a salsa lounge. Thank you Alfredo and Jen for welcoming Kevin and for helping him with his basic!!"

I just want to say that you conducted a very good beginners/intermediate class! :) It was challenging for even me who has taken several salsa series at other schools. Thanks!

"MOVE Magazine will highlight dancers, choreographers and events in the
Southeast. The premiere issue will be out late August and we would love for
Salsambo to be on the cover voted at the number one Salsa Dance Company"
